Description

Make a Difference in the Lives of Horses

Do you have hands-on horse-care experience, a strong work ethic, and a passion for helping horses in need?

Days End Farm Horse Rescue (DEFHR) is seeking a dependable, hardworking Full-Time Barn Assistant to join our Equine Services team. At DEFHR, we care for horses recovering from neglect, abuse, and other challenging circumstances. Our team provides the daily care, rehabilitation, and support these horses need as they work toward healthier futures.

This is an active, hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with horses, takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-organized barn, and understands that quality horse care requires attention to detail, teamwork, and consistency.

What Makes This Opportunity Different?

Working at DEFHR means being part of a nationally recognized horse rescue organization dedicated to improving equine welfare through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and community outreach.

You'll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced equine-care professionals, develop your knowledge of rehabilitation and specialized horse care, and contribute directly to the recovery of horses that need a second chance.

Please note: This is a physically demanding horse-care and barn-maintenance position. It is not a riding or horse-training position.
