A hands-​on difference
VOLUNTEER AT DEFHR

Saving the lives of horses would not be possible without the dedication and selfless actions of our many volunteers. Volunteers of all ages, abilities, and experience levels provide over 55,000 hours of service a year. Whether you’re interested in hands-​on time with the horses or want to contribute in a nonequine capacity, we have a variety of positions and needs in our four volunteer programs.
