Drop-in tours are for parties of up to 10 people and usually last 15 to 20 minutes, depending on what may be taking place on the farm at the time of arrival. Simply stop in the farm any day between 9am to 4pm and locate a staff member to start your tour.
Scheduled tours are for groups of 10 or more, lasting approximately 45 minutes and covering everything from daily operations at DEFHR to our mission against equine cruelty. They can also include a meet and greet with our resident horses, and a photo op with one of our equine ambassadors. Whether your group is a small handful of adults or a large field trip of schoolchildren, every visitor is given a fun educational experience by a knowledgeable tour guide at our main facility in Woodbine, MD.
