Ulu is a striking Kentucky Mountain Horse mare with a big personality in a compact body! Standing at 14.1hh with a narrow build, she is perfect for a small adult or teen looking for an all-around adventure buddy. Ulu is gaited and is still working on developing a nice gait after being out of work for over a year. An adopter with gaited horse experience is required, as we would love to see her flourish in a program that will help her utilize her body in the best way possible and bring out her lovely gait. She has a great canter as well and has been over small jumps. Ulu has experience on the trails, crossing roads, logs, and streams along the way. She has also been working on our obstacle course and is so brave. She is definitely a worker bee and enjoys having a job. Ulu also loves bonding with her person- She is very personable and tries her heart out for her person! Ulu has been living out 24/7, lives on one grain meal a day, and gets along very easily in the herd.
