Luna was born in April 2024 and is looking for a home with someone who has experience raising, training and starting young horses. She is currently still nursing at her mother's side (Phoenix, also available).

Luna is a blank slate who has picked up on her mother's cues that humans are scary! So she will need work from the ground up to socialize her, instill good manners and prep her to become a good equine citizen. Her owner was told her sire was larger than Phoenix, so it is hoped that she may grow to be bigger than her mama, who stands at approximately 14.2h. Luna has straight legs and an overall well-built conformation. If she grows to have the substance anywhere close to what her dam has, she will hopefully turn out to be a solid mare who can fill a rider's leg.

Her owner would be willing to either place her with her mother now or requires that she wait until she can be weaned (in at least one month) before going to her new home. Let us know if you could provide a great home to this lovely little girl!

In lieu of a sale fee, Luna's owner would like a donation of undetermined amount to be made to Days End Farm Horse Rescue.
