EDUCATION PROGRAMS

At DEFHR, we believe that education is the key to preventing equine cruelty and realizing a world with compassion for every horse. Our programs are designed to be informative and encouraging, no matter your experience level, and we are available for onsite and offsite education year-round. DEFHR has an education program for every person.

Adults

Onsite and online classes, seminars, and clinics on horse care, handling, equine neglect, and rehabilitation.

Children

Educating the next generation of horse advocates through youth camps, field trips, Scout days, and homeschool education.

Professionals

Onsite classes to help cruelty investigators and emergency responders feel more confident working with and handling equines.
