If you're looking for an eye catcher gelding with unlimited potential, Dillon is the one for you! The grade boy is 10 years old and stands 15h tall. He was born and raised by his current owner, who has now found themselves needing to move and unable to take their beloved horses with them, which included Dillon's dam, Nikki (also available). Dillon was started into training at 3 years old, primarily desensitizing and introducing him to tack. He was sat on one time at that young age, but his training came to a halt when his owner took on other life priorities.

It was very apparent when we visited that Dillon is young at heart and a fun-loving guy. He was very sociable and curious about everything that was going on. It's clear that he's had a good life and knows no reason to fear or dislike humans. Dillon stood quietly for catching and grooming, picked up all four hooves and fly sprayed with no issues. But what really floored us was how well he handled being ridden!

Remember, Dillon was backed one time as a 3 year old and then went 7 years without any training. When we visited, we observed him stand quietly for mounting, walk around on a lead line as he was ridden bareback, and stand quietly as he was dismounted. What a good boy! Dillon will certainly need further training, but we are impressed with the knowledge that he seems to have retained and hope that he would be an easy, uncomplicated project. With an experienced trainer, we feel Dillon could really go in any direction. The sky truly is the limit for this guy!

Dillon gets along with all horses, both mares and geldings. He's an easy-keeper, barefoot, stands for the vet and farrier, sprays and ties. His price is negotiable to an amazing home. Let us know if you have what it takes to bring Dillon to his full potential!
