Venice is a 6-year-old registered thoroughbred (but she never raced/made it to the track) with the JC name “Sweet Spice”, which fits her perfectly! Lovingly nicknamed ‘Shamu’, this gorgeous mare is ready for a career in any direction. She has smooth, flowing gaits with a canter to die for. Venice rides w/t/c and has been started over fences. She has trailered offsite to a local indoor, trail rides, and recently went cross country schooling for the first time! She jumped over a variety of different fences and fills- so brave! Venice is more woah than go, but she does have a motor when needed. She would make an excellent thoroughbred hunter, but we can see her thriving in any discipline! Venice does have two old sesamoid fractures (RH), but they were coincidentally found and it has not caused any lameness while in our care the past two years. Venice LOVES attention. She is always the first to greet you out in the field and thinks she should ALWAYS be the center of attention. She is funny, and her adopter will need to be able to laugh her jokes from time to time! Venice has experience with a variety of groundwork, from round penning, long lining, lunging, obstacles, etc. This special horse is a once in a lifetime type of mare! We cannot wait to see her bright future ahead with her next partnership.
