Hack Saws Gold, aka "Blondie", is a beautiful 1998, 15.2h registered Quarter Horse mare seeking a home due to her owner's passing last year. Her owners first got her as a 6 year old, intending to ride and breed her. She made it very clear early on that riding was not for her, so she spent most of her years as a broodmare. Her owner would like her placed with her daughter, Pearl, also available through O2O.

When we met Blondie, she was eager to interact and very easy to work around. She willingly entered her stall and waited for her turn to be pulled out and groomed. She stood quietly while haltering and essentially ground tied for grooming. Though it had been a while since she had been thoroughly brushed and hooves picked out, she behaved like she had just had it done yesterday. She stood quietly for fly spray as well. Blondie walked quietly and obediently on the lead and was very polite when turned back out.

Don't let Blondie's age sway you! Aside from some age-related cataracts, you would never guess her age when you see how well she is conditioned - and her weight is maintained mostly on grass! Truly an easy-keeper, she is barefoot and can live out 24/7. Blondie will need to be updated on her dental, farrier, deworming and vaccinations. Her owner is willing to draw a Coggins prior to her departure to her new home. She has been trailered a few times in the last 20 years, the last time being in 2008/9, and she did well at that time. She stalls well, stands on the tie, is good for the vet and farrier, bathes, sprays and is overall just a really sweet gal.
