Erosistable, lovingly nicknamed "Sisty", is a sweet 1998, 16h Belgian Warmblood/Standardbred-X mare looking for a home as a companion or light riding pleasure/trail horse. Sisty has been with her current owner since she was a yearling, but due to life circumstances her owners are trying to find her a loving home where she can live out her days. A foxhunter in her prime, Sisty has more recently been used for easy rides once a week.

Due to an pelvic injury a few years back, Sisty is only suitable as a companion or for light riding with a strong intermediate rider. Sisty would be best suited for someone interested in riding at a slower, easier pace of the walk and occasional trot. This mare lights up under saddle and you can tell she really enjoys getting out and about. Someone wanting to just enjoy a leisurely trail ride or walk around the property would be ideal for her. She also enjoys just being doted on and would be just as happy as a companion for some other easy-going horses. She's been kept with both mares and geldings, but can get flirty with the boys so her owner suggests she be kept with mares moving forward. Sisty would be suitable for an intermediate handler. She's catches, halters, leads and ties with ease. She's good for baths, the vet, farrier and grooming.

Sisty is maintained on daily Equioxx to keep her comfortable and may also benefit from an additional joint supplement. She also receives daily Prascend due to suspected Cushing's and the occasional abscess. Sisty is currently turned out 24/7 on grass and is doing well with that setup. She wears front shoes to help keep her comfortable. It is recommended that Sisty continue to live outside to help keep her joints warmed up, as she can get stiff if standing still for too long. She is UTD on shots, dental and farrier. Her owner is willing to pull a Coggins prior to her leaving for a new home.
