starting a rescue

Guidelines for Establishing a Horse Rescue Facility

Thank you for your interest in our manual. We have worked very hard for a number of years to see this to completion. It is our hope that through the publication of these guidelines that we can help other humane individuals interested in starting a horse rescue to become aware of the expense and the time involved in this endeavor as well as to provide them with any materials we have at our disposal to start them on the road to success.

We are currently asking for a donation of $100.00 for our book entitled Guidelines for Establishing a Horse Rescue

Click here for a list of forms and topics included in this manual.

As this is the first publication of its kind concerning the rescue of horses,we would appreciate any comments or suggestions you may have.We do not have all the answers, and every day is a brand new learning experience. However, we are willing to share what we do know if it will help to better the lives of horses everywhere.

We also offer consultation services with Kathleen Schwartz-Howe, the Founder, at the rate of $50.00 an hour at our facility. Typical consultations take a few hours minimum. Consultations at your facility may also be considered.
